Hays Community
Hays Hall is an alcohol free, all women’s floor. Hayes Hall is a great place to meet people and get involved. Residents paint the walls in their hall, help raise money for charitable causes, and there are always hall activities and programs going on.
Hays Hall is located on the 1st floor of the Ballard Wing, in the Wallace Residence Center. In addition to the swipe-card access to the Ballard Wing, Hays Hall has an additional card swipe to enter the hall for extra security.
Hays Hall –is named after Gertrude Hays, regent. The original Hays Hall is on Blake Ave. and now houses the Alumni Office, Printing and Design Services, Alumni Residence Center & Arboretum Office.
Ballard Wing –is named after David W. Ballard, Idaho Territory Governor, 1866-1870.
Wallace Residence Center - is named after William H. Wallace, the first territorial governor of Idaho, 1863-1864.
