Houston Community
Houston Hall is an all women’s floor located in the Wallace Residence Center. As an academic traditional community, women from diverse majors live on the floor. The women who live in Houston Hall are involved in a number of activities, from Painting doorstops together, to hanging out in the lounge there is always something going on in Houston Hall.
Houston Hall is located on the 2nd floor of the Ballard Wing, in the Wallace Residence Center. In addition to the swipe-card access to the Ballard Wing, Houston Hall has an additional card swipe to enter the hall for extra security.
Houston Hall –is named after Maude Cosho Houston, regent, 1946-1951.
Ballard Wing –is named after David W. Ballard, Idaho Territory Governor, 1866-1870.
Wallace Residence Center - is named after William H. Wallace, the first territorial governor of Idaho, 1863-1864.
